Bio

Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Mitchell specializes in pain management. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical science at Texas A&M and went on to graduate from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He did an internship and his residency in the John Peter Smith Hospital System in Fort Worth, Texas. After residency he completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine, providing medical coverage for the Golden Gloves, several local high schools, Dallas Baptist University and Texas Christian University. After that, he did a second fellowship in Pain Management through John Peter Smith and the UT Southwestern Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program and is board-certified. He engages in comprehensive pain management, partnering with the patient first, and then appropriate medical professionals to achieve the best care possible.

Outside of medical practice, Dr. Mitchell has completed a Masters Degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. He lives in Fort Worth with his wonderful wife and four children.
